This project answers the same twenty questions for all fifty states and the District of Columbia, covering consumer data privacy, biometrics, government surveillance, artificial intelligence, kids online safety, and the right to repair your own devices. Built from real statutes, official regulator guidance, and reporting from groups such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the National Conference of State Legislatures, and the International Association of Privacy Professionals, so you can compare what is protected on paper against what actually happens in practice.
